- GOV.UK says British citizens travelling on a full British citizen passport can get a tourist visa on arrival, and their passport should be valid for at least 6 months from arrival. If you need a visa in advance, Visit Qatar says to apply on the Hayya platform.
- GOV.UK says some prescribed and over-the-counter medicines are controlled in Qatar. Follow the Ministry of Public Health’s steps for bringing them in, including a prescription and medical report in English or Arabic.
- TravelHealthPro recommends the tetanus vaccine for most travellers. It lists MERS-CoV in Qatar, so avoid camels, raw camel milk and camel products.
